Bunchberry

Bunchberry, also know as creeping dogwood, is a low lying spreading ground cover that grows to 8” tall in forest openings. Most of the time, bears ignore these red berries, but in late summer when other berries are waning, they will pause for good patches of bunchberries and chow down.
